We offer an optional program for children who do not normally attend school on Fridays who are in our 3-year-old, 4-year-old, and Explorers classes. The program is called Fun Friday and focuses on our social-emotional curriculum, Slumberkins. The program is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Slumberkins is dedicated to helping families raise caring, confident, and resilient children through affirmations, stories and creature characters. Each week we will choose one Slumberkins Character to focus on. We will read the affirmations, do activities surrounding the character, read the Slumberkins story that goes with that character and do fun activities that target the eleven Early Learning Developmental Guidelines. We will also have snack, go to music, play, go outside and eat lunch.
Students in 3-year-old classes are eligible to be in the 3-year-old class, children in 4-year-old and Explorers classes are eligible to be in the 4/5-year-old-class. There will be 10 spots available in the 3-year-old class, and 12 spots available in the 4/5-year-old class
Your child will bring their own snack, lunch, and water bottle. A sign up link will be emailed to currently enrolled families 2-3 months at a time throughout the school year.
